Crossing Guards

The Northbrook Police Department provides crossing guards who are employees of the department during the school year to all Northbrook schools. Our Wescott students enjoy safe passage to and from school at the following intersections: 

Western Ave. and Dehne Road
Western Ave. and Brentwood Road
Western Ave. and Farnsworth Lane

  • Morning crossing time: 8:10-8:50 a.m.
  • Afternoon crossing time: 3:10-3:45 p.m

Western Ave. and Techny Road
Morning crossing time: 8:10-8:50 a.m.
Afternoon crossing time: 3:10-3:50 p.m.

How to Report a Problem

If a crossing guard is missing from a post during crossing hours, please Richard Rash, Northbrook Police Community Relations Supervisor, at 847-664-4427 or the Northbrook Police Department non-emergency line at 847-564-2060.
